One question often asked of Matt is “how do you train?” Here is his answer:
I’ve been climbing a lot of rocks and working on rope handling. I’ve also hiking and eating as much as I can so I can put on a little weight before we go up high. At altitude, this is consider extreme and it’s hard to eat much. There is 50% less oxygen and your body works so hard you begin to lose weight. So I’m on an ice cream training diet!
